Equine Assisted Therapy (EAT)
Equine Assisted Therapy (EAT)
Equine Assisted Therapy (EAT) sessions are an experiential form of therapy. They are different from the conventional therapy setting in that they work alongside horses from the ground in the presence of a qualified EAT Practitioner. EAT sessions offer a variety of activities focusing on skills such as self-awareness, confidence and communication, which altogether help to promote physical and emotional well-being.
Horses are non-judgemental. They live entirely in the present moment, and they can help us to do that too. In each session - no matter what their needs - participants can escape their differences to focus on what they and their horse can do as a team.
