Riding for the Disabled Association incorporating Carriage Driving

At RDA, our horses and ponies provide therapy, achievement and enjoyment to people with disabilities all over the UK.

Our network of 500 volunteer groups organise activities such as riding, carriage driving, vaulting, showjumping and Hippotherapy to up to 28,000 people each year.

We have been carrying out our life-changing activities for over 40 years, and take great pride in the exceptional standard of our instructors and volunteers.

CSRC run our own sessions on Wednesday afternoon, this is to become a group whereby we expect to offer more people the opportunity to experience activities with the horses. CSRC undertake pre riding assessments and manages the many enquiries to attend sessions.

CSRC take a lead role in setting standards of good practice and support groups and volunteers here to develop and train in all areas from basic training to becoming an RDA qualified Coach. We hold RDA Regional and National training days here and are also an exam centre used by RDA for United Kingdom Coaching Certificate, RDA Coach and Senior Coach assessments.

Four RDA member groups access CSRC on a weekly basis, they are Hope Mountain Group, Wrexham Group, Dyffryn Ceiriog and CSRC.
