Clwyd Special Riding Centre is looking to recruit two part-time grooms to join their small equine team. This is an exciting role for enthusiastic, driven and experienced individuals, to work on a professional yard of 22 horses and to assist in the smooth running of the Centre.

Applicants should have at least a Level 2 horse care and riding qualification or equivalent proven skills and experience. Be able to work without supervision to a high standard and must be confident in riding a range of horses of different sizes, temperament and age. (The interview will include a ridden element.)

There is also the opportunity to train towards RDA coaching qualifications.

Clwyd Special Riding Centre (CSRC) is a registered charity offering a variety of equine experiences for people with additional needs, based in the Clwydian Hills, between Wrexham and Mold. Our aim is to offer a beneficial experience to all persons through riding, carriage driving, equestrian vaulting, equine learning and therapy, and hippotherapy. For 18 months, the Centre was closed due to the pandemic, but has now begun a phased reopening to get back to what we do best: using our special horses and ponies to improve the life experience of children and adults with additional needs.

If you are interested in joining our well-established charity in our 40th anniversary year, and being part of our exciting future, then we would like to hear from you. The job specification can be viewed from the link below.
